since i started performing i've always thought of a tour as a body or work

With that in mind i've forever thought i should document each and every show of a tour for a release. I tried to accomplish this early on touring with a DAT recorder in Europe in 2004 but in my nervous confused headspace of that time forgot to ever press record at any shows, then accidentally soaked machine to ruin before capturing a single second on tape.

for this reason my entire live documentation to date has relied on happenstance recordings by audience members or venues.

Now so many years later i decided to try again investing in a zoom recorder before embarking on my tour of North America last year to capture what may be my last trip there for the foreseeable future.

i did a little better this time, i still forgot to press record on some shows, others i only managed to capture part of the gig hitting record mid set and with some others forgot to check levels and either had no or totally overblown levels.

anyway most of it is here warts and all (unedited besides the removal of some line check type stuff at the beginning of some sets) over six hours worth of live sets from all over North America.

PS some recordings may have been at other cities, as i didn't have batteries in my zoom it didn't attribute dates and therefore i had to guess which was which based on order of recordings as i had no memory of when and if i hit record in any particular city.

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
